Leo founded Local AR to give Houston homeowners, remodelers, and businesses clear, permit-ready drawings backed by design that has actually been thought through. The studio handles residential and commercial drafting, from additions, ADUs, and renovations to retail and mixed-use projects, and pairs it with 3D and AR visualization so you can see your project before anything gets built.

His background runs deeper than drafting. Leo holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano and a Master of Science in Space Architecture from the University of Houston, and he is currently completing the requirements for U.S. architecture licensure. He has worked across general contracting, millwork and fabrication design, and residential renovation coordination, so he understands how a drawing becomes a finished, permitted build, not just how it looks on a screen.

That range is the point. Years of AR development and space architecture work taught him to design at a systems level, where every part has to fit and function together. He brings the same rigor to a kitchen addition or a tenant buildout, and the 3D and AR tools mean you are never guessing what you are paying for.

Leo works in English and Spanish and has hands-on experience on permitted 3D-printed housing projects. He is also a published author, conference speaker, and has earned honors in international design competitions.
